Classic Residence by Hyatt at Lakeside Village
Serves 10
Ingredients:
5 ounces light brown sugar
4 fluid ounces honey
1/2 ounce butter—softened
1 fluid ounce egg whites
1 tablespoon evaporated skim milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 ounces quick cooking oats
4 ounces all-purpose flour
4 ounces pears—puréed
3-1/2 ounces dried pears
Vegetable oil spray—as needed
Directions:
Cream together sugar, honey and butter. Set aside.
Lightly beat together egg whites, milk and vanilla extract.
Combine with sugar mixture.
Fold in the oats and flour.
Stir in pear purée and dried pears.
Lightly spray a sheet pan with vegetable oil and drop teaspoon full of batter (slightly less than 1 once each) onto a pan that has been lightly coated with oil spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Cook on the sheet pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
