Classic Residence by Hyatt in Reno was named as one of the 2008 Greater Reno-Tahoe Best Places to Work. Company winners were determined on overall scores from employee-satisfaction surveys. The anonymous surveys focused on 10 criteria of a satisfying working environment including: team effectiveness, trust with coworkers, manager effectiveness, feeling valued and people practices, among others.

The Greater Reno-Tahoe Best Places to Work awards were co-sponsored by EDAWN, the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association (NNHRA) and the Reno Gazette-Journal.

TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina), was recently named as one of the 2007 Best Places to Work in South Carolina. This survey and award program, created by SCBIZ in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)—South Carolina State Council, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, SCJobnetwork.com, and Best Companies Group, was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the top employers in South Carolina, benefiting the state's economy, workforce, and businesses.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, joins a group of esteemed local businesses in this ranking, including companies such as AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, American Stainless & Supply, and Johnson & Johnson, Inc., CMGA.

Classic Residence by Hyatt and The Plaza Companies (Scottsdale, Arizona) has been ranked the #1 Independent/Assisted Living Community in Arizona for the seventh consecutive year in Arizona Business magazine. It was also ranked #19 in 2006 and #23 in 2007 in the Best Places to Work in the Valley, a contest sponsored by the Phoenix Business Journal.
