“I have been interested in art all of my life and enjoy the fact that now I have time to devote to it,” Ruth says. For this painting, she was inspired by the red poinsettias that were part of the holiday décor at Classic Residence by Hyatt. “There’s a painting class every week, and we’ve had the same excellent teacher all these years.”
