Oatmeal-Pear Cookies |

Classic Residence by Hyatt at Lakeside Village
Serves 10

Ingredients:
- 5 ounces light brown sugar
- 4 fluid ounces honey
- 1/2 ounce butter—softened
- 1 fluid ounce egg whites
- 1 tablespoon evaporated skim milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 ounces quick cooking oats
- 4 ounces all-purpose flour
- 4 ounces pears—puréed
- 3-1/2 ounces dried pears
- Vegetable oil spray—as needed
Directions:
- Cream together sugar, honey and butter. Set aside.
- Lightly beat together egg whites, milk and vanilla extract.
- Combine with sugar mixture.
- Fold in the oats and flour.
- Stir in pear purée and dried pears.
- Lightly spray a sheet pan with vegetable oil and drop teaspoon full of batter (slightly less than 1 once each) onto a pan that has been lightly coated with oil spray.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
- Cook on the sheet pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
