Residents of Classic Residence by Hyatt Alzheimer’s/memory support program live in private furnished suites that come complete with window treatments, wall-to-wall carpeting, individual climate control and private baths featuring easy-access showers with assist bars. Each suite also includes a memory display box at the entry filled with photos and other personal treasures that help guide residents to their own door.

Family members can rest assured that their loved ones are receiving high-quality care. Our specially trained, compassionate professionals provide individualized attention, ranging from supervision to assistance. Alzheimer’s/memory support care includes:

• An individualized service plan based on a comprehensive individual evaluation
• Routine and as-needed reevaluation of each resident to address changes in his or her level of service
• Assistance with dining, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transferring and ambulating
• Monitoring of nutritional status
• Coordination of medical appointments and health care needs
• Medication administration
• Wellness programming such as periodic health screenings and exercise classes
• Group-oriented and one-on-one programs provided by our specially trained staff based on individual needs and preferences
• Nursing care with specific procedures

Group-oriented and individual programs and events are designed to promote each resident’s independence and dignity, encourage positive interaction and minimize stress. Easily recognized sight, sound and aroma cues are incorporated into the program to help orient residents. Monitoring of nutritional status helps support the individual’s health and well-being.

In addition, Alzheimer’s/memory support care at each Classic Residence by Hyatt community offers a variety of specialized programs—from creative arts to aromatherapy and music appreciation that are designed to enhance each resident’s life skills and to provide outlets for a wide range of interests and abilities.

Classic Residence by Hyatt provides Alzheimer’s/memory support care and services tailored to the individual, creating an atmosphere that preserves dignity, honors privacy, and encourages self-sufficiency. Services include:

• Three meals each day, prepared under the supervision of a classically trained executive chef
• Weekly light housekeeping service and daily light housekeeping, including bed making
• Weekly laundering of bed and bath linens
• Scheduled transportation for programs and events
• Fitness therapy room
• Living room
• Landscaped grounds with walking path
• Card and activity room
• Salon/barbershop
