James Edwartoski - Executive Director

James Edwartoski is responsible for the comfort, well-being and satisfaction of each resident at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood.

As Executive Director, James oversees every aspect of the community, including the quality of services, amenities, programs and care provided to residents. James exemplifies Classic Residence by Hyatt’s mission, philosophy and core values of integrity, compassion and excellence and ensures that each employee upholds these tenets.

With 13 years of experience in the senior living industry, James has demonstrated his dedication to older adults. He and his team have been honored with numerous awards for excellence.

Manny Bonilla - Director of Dining Services

Manny Bonilla is responsible for every aspect of the dining experience at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood, from table reservations and settings to the personalized service each resident receives.

As Director of Dining Services, Manny oversees the resident dining experience in the community’s dining venues, including private dining functions that residents host for their families and friends.

Manny's extensive hospitality management experience ideally suits him to meet and exceed the expectations of our discerning clientele.

Lisa Calvet - Sales Director

Lisa Calvet is responsible for sales at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood, promoting the benefits of senior living to older adults and their family and friends.

As Sales Director, Lisa manages the sales team and represents Classic Residence by Hyatt to the larger community. She also serves as a resource to community organizations on the topics of senior living, assisted living and Alzheimer's and dementia care.

Lisa's experience in senior living and at Classic Residence by Hyatt has made her a true sales leader.

Pedro Larrea - Director of Facilities Management

Pedro Larrea is responsible for maintaining every aspect of the setting at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood and ensuring that the highest possible degree of cleanliness and aesthetic value is achieved.

As Director of Facilities Management, Pedro manages maintenance and housekeeping operations in such a way that residents are proud to call the community home and to invite their family and friends to share their experience at Classic Residence by Hyatt.

With his extensive experience in engineering and environmental services, Pedro is dedicated to maintaining this richly designed environment at the highest standards.

Carla Lehman, RN - Director of Assisted Living

Carla Lehman, RN, is responsible for all aspects of the quality care and services provided to residents of assisted living and Alzheimer’s and dementia care at Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Director of Assisted Living, Carla ensures that care and services are delivered in accordance with Classic Residence by Hyatt’s mission, core values, resident care philosophy and standards of care and practice.

A dedicated nurse leader throughout her long career, Carla has also served as a nursing instructor.

Javier Rios, CEC, CDM, CFPP - Executive Chef

As Executive Chef, Javier Rios oversees every aspect of the culinary program for Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood, including menu creation and food preparation. Javier’s menus feature healthy and taste-tempting selections based on resident preferences.

Javier developed his culinary expertise in high-end country club settings. He has received customized training provided by The Culinary Institute of America on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics and food and wine pairing. He is a certified executive chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.

Vladimir Sautier - Director of Accounting

Vladimir Sautier is responsible for the accuracy of operational accounting for Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood.

As Director of Accounting, Vladimir oversees all accounting functions and is responsive to resident requests and questions.

Vladimir has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance field, including positions with several Fortune 500 companies. He earned his master of business administration degree from Babson College. He currently serves as a member of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and as campaign treasurer for a city of Miami Gardens councilman.

David Scism - Lifestyle Director

David Scism creates and implements lifestyle-enriching programs that contribute to each resident’s whole-person wellness.

As Lifestyle Director, David oversees lifestyle programs designed for residents, such as social and community involvement, participatory and spectator events, creative and educational coursework, lecture series, travel clubs, book reviews, fitness classes and more.

David has been honored with numerous awards for his dedication to the resident experience.

Lora Walters, PHR - Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources, Lora Walters enhances both resident and employee satisfaction through expert oversight and management of the community’s human resources function. She recruits and develops top employees who have a passion for working with older adults.

Lora is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Association of Broward County.

Dan Werksman - Director of Resident Services

Dan Werksman promotes a healthy, enriching environment at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Hollywood.

As Director of Resident Services, Dan helps to ensure that each resident is receiving the appropriate level of services and care. He is pleased to address the questions of residents and their family members about care options and other matters.

Dan joined Classic Residence by Hyatt in 1996 and has been honored with numerous awards for his commitment to our residents and their families.
