Thomas Jones - Executive Director

Thomas Jones is responsible for the comfort, well-being and satisfaction of each resident at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Executive Director, Thomas oversees every aspect of the community, including the quality of services, amenities, programs and care provided to residents. Thomas exemplifies Classic Residence by Hyatt’s mission, philosophy and core values of integrity, compassion and excellence and ensures that each employee upholds these tenets.

With 29 years of experience in hospitality, 19 of which have been in senior living, Thomas continues to demonstrate his dedication to providing excellent service and enhanced lifestyle opportunities for older adults.

Stephani Johnson - Care Center Administrator

Stephani Johnson ensures that each resident of the Classic Residence by Hyatt care center receives appropriate care and services and enjoys a variety of enriching programs and activities.

As Care Center Administrator, Stephani oversees every aspect of the Classic Residence by Hyatt care center, from the quality of the resident experience and care to communications with family members. She is a member of the multidisciplinary Classic Residence by Hyatt care team, which works with each resident and his or her family and physician to develop a personalized plan of services and care.

Stephani has more than 20 years of experience in health care administration. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in North and South Carolina and California and a licensed residential home administrator in South Carolina and California.

Kendell Brinkman, RN-C, BS, OCN - Director of Nursing

Kendell Brinkman, RN-C, BS, OCN, is responsible for the quality of care and services provided to residents of assisted living and skilled nursing care at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Director of Nursing, Kendell works with the Care Center Administrator, the resident’s personal physician and the consulting medical director to develop the plan of care or plan of services for each resident. She ensures that care and services are delivered in accordance with Classic Residence by Hyatt’s mission, core values, resident care philosophy and standards of care and practice. She is a member of the multidisciplinary Classic Residence by Hyatt care team, which works with each resident and his or her family and physician to develop a personalized plan of services and care.

Kendell brings a wealth of experience to Classic Residence by Hyatt, including more than 30 years as a registered nurse in a broad variety of health care settings.

David Chidboy - Director of Engineering

David Chidboy is responsible for maintaining every aspect of the setting at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Director of Engineering, David manages maintenance operations in such a way that residents are proud to call the community home and to invite their family and friends to share their experience at Classic Residence by Hyatt.

With 16 years at Classic Residence by Hyatt, David is dedicated to maintaining this richly designed environment at the highest standards.

Sandra Gilliam - Director of Accounting

Sandra Gilliam is responsible for the accuracy of operational accounting for TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Director of Accounting, Sandra oversees all accounting functions and is responsive to resident requests and questions.

With 21 years of experience in health care and senior living, including nine with Classic Residence by Hyatt, Sandra exemplifies our core values of integrity, compassion and excellence.

Rex Goethe - Senior Director of Housekeeping

Rex Goethe ensures that the highest possible degree of cleanliness and aesthetic value is achieved at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Senior Director of Housekeeping, Rex oversees the housekeeping function for each resident’s home as well as the community areas.

Rex’s extensive background in housekeeping management in the hotel/resort and senior living industries contributes to the resident experience at Classic Residence by Hyatt. Rex is a member of the International Executive Housekeepers Association and the Cleaning Management Institute.

Maryanne Kirkpatrick - Director of Member Services

Maryanne Kirkpatrick promotes a healthy, enriching environment at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.

As Director of Member Services, Maryanne creates and implements lifestyle-enriching programs that contribute to each resident’s whole-person wellness. In addition, she helps to ensure that each resident is receiving the appropriate level of services and care. She is pleased to address the questions of residents and their family members about care options and other matters.

Maryanne’s 10 years at TidePointe and her pursuit of continuing education demonstrate her commitment to the resident experience.

Kevin Meredith, CFBE, CDM, CFPP - Director of Dining Services

Kevin Meredith is responsible for every aspect of the dining experience at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, from table reservations and settings to the personalized service each resident receives.

As Director of Dining Services, Kevin oversees the resident dining experience in the community’s dining venues, including private dining functions that residents host for their families and friends.

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 12 years in senior living, Kevin’s extensive background is ideally suited to our discerning resident clientele. He is a certified food and beverage executive, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.

Stephen Stewart, CEC, CDM, CFPP - Executive Chef

As Executive Chef, Stephen Stewart oversees every aspect of the culinary program for TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, including menu creation, food preparation and the management of therapeutic diets. Stephen’s menus feature healthy and taste-tempting selections based on resident preferences.

Stephen’s culinary expertise has been developed for the past 25 years. He has received customized training provided by The Culinary Institute of America on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics and food and wine pairing. He is a certified executive chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional. He is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

Marlowe Williams - Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources, Marlowe Williams enhances both resident and employee satisfaction through expert oversight and management of the community’s human resources function. She recruits and develops top employees who have a passion for working with older adults.

Marlowe is a past president of the local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She earned her master of arts degree in human resources development from Webster University.

Dene Wilmot - Sales Director

Dene Wilmot is responsible for sales at TidePointe, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, promoting the benefits of senior living to older adults and their family and friends.

As Sales Director, Dene manages the sales team and represents Classic Residence by Hyatt to the larger community. She also serves as a resource to community organizations on the topics of senior living and continuing care.

Dene’s 10 years in the senior living industry and her experience at Classic Residence by Hyatt have made her a true sales leader. Dene and her team have been honored with numerous awards for sales excellence. She is broker-in-charge for TidePointe.
