Care Center Opens at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Highlands Ranch
Classic Residence by Hyatt in Highlands Ranch, the 23.5-acre senior living community that welcomed its first residents in July of last year, opens its Care Center on Friday, June 12. The Care Center has 16 one-bedroom apartments for assisted living, 12 suites for Alzheimer’s/memory support and 24 suites for skilled nursing care services available on-site to residents. The $150 million dollar development, “Type A” continuing care retirement community (CCRC), is the first of its kind in Colorado.

Classic Residence by Hyatt and The Plaza Companies, a senior living community located at Grayhawk, has nearly completed an extensive refurbishment project that included significant updates to the common areas of its main building and Care Center. The renovation allowed for a substantial donation of furniture and other equipment, including nearly 200 dining chairs, tables, conference room furniture, beauty salon apparatus and more to several local-area charities. Beneficiaries include St. Vincent De Paul; United Methodist Outreach Ministry (UMOM); and Phoenix-based Human Services Campus, which includes the Central Arizona Shelter Services, Lodestar Day Resource Center and the Success Center, a job placement concern....

The Plaza Companies and Classic Residence by Hyatt, award-winning leaders in luxury senior living, have entered into a joint venture and reached an agreement to purchase a 35-acre parcel in Silverstone. The land is part of a 160-acre upscale mixed-use development located at the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak Parkway in North Scottsdale, Arizona. The Plaza Companies and Classic Residence by Hyatt plan to develop a luxury continuing care retirement community (CCRC) on the site with approximately 270 independent living residences and an on-site care center offering assisted living, Alzheimer's/memory support care, and skilled nursing care.
