Classic Residence by Hyatt Appoints Diane Cook to Vice President of Human Resources
National Leader in Luxury Senior Living Expands its Executive Management Team

Classic Residence by Hyatt, a national leader in luxury living for older adults, has appointed Diane Cook to vice president of human resources. Cook joined Classic Residence by Hyatt in June 2006 as a regional director. Her new responsibilities include administration of Classic Residence’s human resource function; developing and executing initiatives such as training, leadership development and ongoing education programs; employee relations; benefit programs; compensation oversight; recruitment and counsel to the human resource functions at Classic Residence by Hyatt communities from coast to coast.
As part of her promotion, Cook joins the executive management team at Classic Residence by Hyatt, and will serve as an advisor to senior management on various business and human capital issues.
Cook’s new role adds to her 10 years of human resources management and legal experience. Cook was previously a regional human resources director at Classic Residency by Hyatt. Before joining Classic Residence by Hyatt, Cook served as vice president of human resources and general counsel for Cookeville Regional Medical Center near Nashville, Tenn. In her career, Cook has served as human resources director and labor relations counsel for ACS and for Cummins, Inc.

Cook holds a J.D. from the University of Tennessee and practiced law for several years before transitioning to human resources management.
