Amy Mataro assists the Executive Director in ensuring the highest quality experience for each resident we serve.
As Associate Executive Director, Amy helps the Executive Director to manage the personalized delivery of high-quality services, amenities, programs and care. Amy exemplifies Classic Residence by Hyatt’s mission, philosophy and core values of integrity, compassion and excellence and ensures that each employee upholds these tenets.
Amy brought her passion for serving older adults to Classic Residence by Hyatt in 1992. Prior to that, she learned her expertise in hospitality and the guest experience at Hyatt Hotels. She is an assisted living administrator and completed a master’s certificate program in gerontology from Florida International University. She earned her bachelor of science degree in restaurant, hotel and institutional management from Purdue University.

Susan Keener ensures that each resident of the Classic Residence by Hyatt care center receives appropriate care and services and enjoys a variety of enriching programs and activities.
As Care Center Administrator, Susan oversees every aspect of the Classic Residence by Hyatt care center, from the quality of the resident experience and care to communications with family members. She is a member of the multidisciplinary Classic Residence by Hyatt care team, which works with each resident and his or her family and physician to develop a personalized plan of services and care.
Susan has worked with older adults for most of her career and earned her master’s degree in health administration.

Carla Davis promotes a healthy, enriching environment at Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.
As Director of Resident Services, Carla helps to ensure that each resident is receiving the appropriate level of services and care. She is pleased to address the questions of residents and their family members about care options and other matters.
With a degree in gerontology from the University of Northern Colorado and 20 years of experience in senior living, Carla has devoted her career to older adults. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Florida.

Debbie Galt ensures that the highest possible degree of cleanliness and aesthetic value is achieved at Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.
As Director of Housekeeping, Debbie oversees the housekeeping function for each resident’s home as well as the community areas.
Debbie acquired her housekeeping management skills in the resort and hotel industry. She earned her degree in hotel and motel management and is certified as an executive housekeeper by the International Executive Housekeepers Association.

As Director of Human Resources, Terri Lamon enhances both resident and employee satisfaction through expert oversight and management of the community’s human resources function. She recruits and develops top employees who have a passion for working with older adults.
Terri has more than 20 years of human resources and training experience and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources.

As Director of Bentley Home Care, Betty Bailey Lauffer ensures that the care and services provided by the home health care agency are delivered in accordance with Classic Residence by Hyatt’s mission, core values, resident care philosophy and standards of care and practice.
Throughout her career, Betty has demonstrated her commitment to the well-being of older adults. She is a longstanding board member of the Christian Chamber of Southwest Florida and serves as its secretary.

John Maguire is responsible for every aspect of the dining experience at Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, from table reservations and settings to the personalized service each resident receives.
As Assistant Director of Dining Services, John oversees the resident dining experience in the community’s dining venues, including private dining functions that residents host for their families and friends.
John has served residents of Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, for 17 years. He holds an assisted living administrator’s certification from the State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs and is a certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.

Gary Pace is responsible for maintaining every aspect of the luxury setting at Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.
As Director of Engineering, Gary manages maintenance operations in such a way that residents are proud to call the community home and to invite their family and friends to share their experience at Classic Residence by Hyatt.
Gary, who developed his engineering and maintenance skills at Hyatt Hotels, has been dedicated to enhancing the experience of older adults for 16 years.

As Executive Chef, Ed Padden works with the Director of Food and Beverage to oversee every aspect of the culinary program for Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, including menu creation, food preparation and the management of therapeutic diets. Ed's menus feature healthy and taste-tempting selections based on resident preferences.
Ed's culinary expertise was developed and enhanced during his tenure in the hotel industry and at various country clubs. He has received customized training provided by The Culinary Institute of America on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics and food and wine pairing. He is a certified executive chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional and has served as executive chef for Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, since 1996.

Drew Robertson is responsible for sales at Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt, promoting the benefits of luxury senior living to older adults and their family and friends.
As Sales Director, Drew manages the sales team and represents Classic Residence by Hyatt to the larger community. He also serves as a resource to community organizations on the topics of senior living and life care.
With 15 years of sales experience in senior living and health care, Drew is a true sales leader.

As Director of Food and Beverage, David Schini works with the Executive Chef and Assistant Director of Dining Services to oversee every aspect of the culinary program and dining experience for Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.
David's commitment to the residents of Classic Residence by Hyatt began nearly 20 years ago. He has enhanced his food and beverage management skills for the past 38 years. He is a certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.

Suzanne Scott creates and implements lifestyle-enriching programs that contribute to each resident’s whole-person wellness.
As Lifestyle Director, Suzanne oversees lifestyle programs designed for residents, such as social and community involvement, participatory and spectator events, creative and educational coursework, lecture series, travel clubs, book reviews, fitness classes and more.
Suzanne's commitment to residents of Classic Residence by Hyatt began in 1988. She recently completed a course on the spiritual aspects of wellness so she can provide an even greater level of understanding and compassion to our residents.

Jack Whaley is responsible for the accuracy of operational accounting for Bentley Village, A Classic Residence by Hyatt.
As Director of Accounting, Jack oversees all accounting functions and is responsive to resident requests and questions.
Jack earned his MBA from the University of Miami School of Business and is a certified public accountant.
